What keeps me reading?

What keeps me reading a book is because if I understand the words and the things the characters do in the book and you like it, I am encouraged to keep reading the book.

Out on the Nature Trail

We were out on the Nature Trail to collect some samples of Nature. All of us went past the trail and we found a box turtle. Some of us named it Bob and some of us named it Hammy and most people named it Little Lucy. The people who named it Bob knew it was a girl but they love the name Bob. We asked Ms. Buchholz if we could bring it in as a class pet. But she said no. I wonder how all the trees fell down?

Yesterday we were out on the nature trail. We have found many amazing discoveries and sketched them. Can you find good discoveries? Why are we going to the nature trail? One day we went to a nature trail we found a turtle. I found a purple mushroom. We found a spider wrapping a fly. I wonder if the turtle was scared when Liam picked him/her up.

What Keeps Me Reading?

I keep reading a book when I like the book and I'm intrested in it. Also I know that reading puts me in a good mood so I love a good book. Another thing that keeps me reading is when I read a book I really, really like so I can read a book by the same author and that also makes it easier to find a book I know I will like.
