ReplyDeleteI'm glad that you are exploring Chris Van Allsburg. We have a small collection of his books at Henry's house, mostly because his dad loves the illustrations. They are always interesting, sometimes mysterious, and sometimes a little weird, don't you think?
ReplyDeleteWe think that Chris Van Allsburg books are also a little creepy. We agree that the pictures are really great! We spend a lot of time looking at the pictures trying to figure things out and look for clues. His stories create a lot of I WONDERS for us.
